GENERAL INFORMATION

Machupicchu by car is a tourist package of 2 days and 1 night. This is a different way of “Visiting the wonder of the world; Machupicchu” that we offer to visitors. The experience combines adventure, nature and some trekking. Another benefit of the package is that it is a budget friendly option to visit Machupicchu and has all the services included. 

LIVE THE EXPERIENCE

ITINERARY

1 Day

  • Pick up from the hotel and transfer to the place where the tour will begin.
  • Transfer in a touristic bus from Cusco to Hidroelectrica.
  • During this trip we will pass by the town of Ollantaytambo and reach our highest point of the trip; “Malaga’s pass”. Which is located at 4,326 masl.
  • Cointinuing with the trip, we pass through the towns of Huyro, Huamanmarka, Santa Maria and Santa Teresa.
  • Finally, we arrive to Hidroelectrica at around 14:00. Here, we will have a basic lunch.
  • From Hidroelectrica we will start a walk that takes about 2 – 2 ½ hours to complete. We arrive to the town of Aguas Calientes. If you choose not to walk, you can take the touristic train ( Not included).
  • Once we arrive to Aguas Calientes, you will be taken to a basic hostel to rest that night.

2 Day

  • In the morning the passengers will take the bus from Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu Sanctuary.
  • Guided visit in a group to all the important sites in Machu Picchu with enough time to take pictures.
  • Before noon the passengers will take the bus back to the town of Aguas Calientes where they can start the walk back to Hidroelectrica.
  • Once the passengers arrive to Hidroelectrica, time will be available to grab some lunch (Not included).
  • Passengers pick up from Hidroelectrica starts at 14:30.
  • Return from Hidroelectrica to the city of Cusco. Arrival to Cusco at approximately 22:00 to Plaza San Francisco or Plaza regocijo.

Lima – Capital city of Peru.

Lima is located on the central coast of the country. The city is on the shores of the pacific ocean and has an estimated 8, 5 million inhabitants. On January the 18th 1535, the city was founded and was given the name of ”King´s city”. Nowadays, the city is the political, financial, and cultural center of the country. Lima is the third most populous city in Hispanic America and also ranks fifth in the most populous cities in South America.

Cusco – Capital city of the Inca Empire.

Cusco o “Qosqo” which in Quechua means ”Navel of the world”, is a city located in the southeast part of the country and also situated in the eastern part of the Andes mountain chain. Cusco is known as the ”Historic capital of the country”. This is because it was the capital of the Inca Empire. The city boasts several churches, palaces, and squares in baroque and neoclassical styles. All these attractions make Cusco the main touristic attraction in Peru. UNESCO has declared Cusco as a ”World Heritage Site” in 1983.
