GENERAL INFORMATION

The tours of “Rainbow Mountain” and “Machupicchu” are brought together in this amazing experience because they are the most sought after tours here in Cusco. LIVE THE EXPERIENCE

ITINERARY

1 Day

  • Pickup from the hotel very early in the morning.
  • The tour heads southward towards Checacupe, we continue the trip until we arrive to the town of Cusipata.
  • Once in Cusco, we will have a light breakfast and then we will prepare for the approx. 2 hours trekking.
  • Arrival to the “Vinicunca” mountain which is located at 5200 meters above sea level. There will be enough time to take pictures and enjoy the amazing landscape surrounded by the Apus: Sarinini, Vinicunca, Ausangate, and Sivinacocha.
  • Return downhill until we arrive to the town of Cusipata.
  • Buffett lunch at the aforementioned town.
  • Return to the city of Cusco; estimated arrival at 17:00

2 Day

  • Very early in the morning pickup from the hotel will take place and bus ride to the train station in Ollantaytambo
  • In Ollantaytambo we will take the train to Aguas Calientes.
  • Once we arrive to Aguas Calientes, the bus will take you to the sanctuary of Machupicchu.
  • Guided visit in a group to all the important sites in Machu Picchu with enough time to take pictures.
  • The passengers will take the bus back to the town of Aguas Calientes where they can have lunch (Lunch is not included).
  • The passengers will take the train from Aguas Calientes back to the town of Ollantaytambo.
  • Pick up from the Ollantaytambo train station in a touristic bus.
  • Return from Ollantaytambo to the city of Cusco. Arrival to Regocijo square or San Francisco square.

Lima – Capital city of Peru.

Lima is located on the central coast of the country. The city is on the shores of the pacific ocean and has an estimated 8, 5 million inhabitants. On January the 18th 1535, the city was founded and was given the name of ”King´s city”. Nowadays, the city is the political, financial, and cultural center of the country. Lima is the third most populous city in Hispanic America and also ranks fifth in the most populous cities in South America.

Cusco – Capital city of the Inca Empire.

Cusco o “Qosqo” which in Quechua means ”Navel of the world”, is a city located in the southeast part of the country and also situated in the eastern part of the Andes mountain chain. Cusco is known as the ”Historic capital of the country”. This is because it was the capital of the Inca Empire. The city boasts several churches, palaces, and squares in baroque and neoclassical styles. All these attractions make Cusco the main touristic attraction in Peru. UNESCO has declared Cusco as a ”World Heritage Site” in 1983.
